Get Directions Here
Northbound
- Take Interstate 5 or Highway 99
- From 1-5 take Capital City Free Way Exit
- Follow signs to Reno
- Cal Expo is North of the American River
- Highway 99 turns to Capital City Freeway just north of the 12th avenue exit
- Follow signs over to Cal Expo River over the river
Southbound
- Drivers can arrive from Interstate 5, Highway 99, or Highway 70
- Highways 99 and Highway 70 join 1-5 north of Sacramento
- From 1-5 take 1-80/reno exit and continue to the capital freeway exit just off watt avenue
- Continue to downtown Sacramento until you reach the Cal Expo Exit
Eastbound
- Take Interstate 80 to Sacramento
- Then take capital city freeway exit in West Sacramento
- Follow signs to Lake Tahoe
- Continue on Capital City Freeway until you make the turn off to Reno
- Cal Expo exit is just northeast of the American River.
Westbound
- Take Interstate 80 or Highway 50 to Sacramento
- From 1-80 go down Capital City Freeway Exit until you reach downtown Sacramento
- Note: it will be just past Madison Avenue
- Drive until you reach Cal Expo Exit
- Once you reach the Cal Expo Exit take the turn off to Reno
- Cal Expo will be northeast of the American River
