Yes! Our event attendees can park on-site for $10! Guest have the opportunity to purchase a parking pass during checkout, or you can pay when you arrive!

Yes, the 2022 Imaginarium event has dedicated pick-up and drop-off spots for public transportation and ride sharing/taxi service. 

Tickets can be purchased online or by visiting our box office located at the Cal-Expo Center. Should you have questions about ticket pricing, special discounts or group sales, please feel free to reach out to our guest services team at (916) 250-3007.

The safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. Weather will be evaluated daily. Should the event need to delay or cancel operations for that day, guests will be able to use their ticket on another day. We will do everything we can to provide ample notice on delays or closures. 

The Largest, Holiday Light Festival in the US. Operating at the Cal-Expo State Fair in Sacramento, this year’s “Light Up The Night” will be the must attend event of 2022. 

Action Packed with more than 5 million lights you’ll adventure across 15 acres , this year’s event is a redesign of last year’s brand new concept. Offering a more immersive experience featuring an incredible array of lighting displays, responding to music and attendees. Guests will love walking through illuminated tunnels and the Field of Dreams aglow with over 30,000 roses arriving at Winter Wonderland. In total there are over five million LED lights, creating a unique and exhilarating event specifically designed for this year’s extended holiday season. There’s the Rhapsody in Blue zone where lights are synchronized with music, creating a festive and fun atmosphere for adults and children alike.

Upon entering the event, guests will find kiosks scattered throughout the event with information, maps, and must-sees! 

Guests who join us for this years Imaginarium festival will find the creators of the 2022 Light up the Night event has placed an extra focus on food & beverage. Throughout the park, vendors will be set-up offering everything from street food to the house-hold favorite funnel cakes! 

For those guests 21+, you’ll also find a completely redesigned beer garden with all of your favorite national and local beers!

No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed to be brought into the festival grounds. However, exceptions are made for Guests with special dietary needs including food allergies and baby food/formula.

Smoking, or the use of e-cigarrettes and “vapes” in the festival common areas is not permitted. The Imaginarium team has designated and marked off specific “smoking” areas throughout the festival grounds. 

Wheelchairs are rented on a first-come, first-served basis and are available inside the festival behind guest relations. At the moment, strollers are not an option that’s available.

Imaginarium is committed to providing a fun and safe environment for all our guests, inclusive to those with sensitivities and/or disabilities. For special accommodations, please contact our Guest Service Center to the right of the Box Office or by calling (916) 250-3007.

In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, Imaginarium strictly enforces a dress code. Proper attire must be always worn in the festival, including shirts and appropriate footwear.

Clothing with rude, vulgar, or offensive language or graphics is not permitted at any time (shirts cannot be turned inside out as a solution). Festival admission may be denied if clothing is deemed by management to be inappropriate. Basic winter attire is suggested. 

No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted into the festival grounds.

Our team has deliberately redesigned our Beer Garden to include all of YOUR favorite beverages. All guests must be 21 Years of Age and provide a valid, non-expired government issued id.

Excessive consumption of alcohol is a cause for ejection from the festival without refund.

Guests who leave the festival and plan to return during the same day must have their hands stamped prior to exiting the festival grounds. 

When Guests return to the festival, they must enter through the re-entry gate with a proper hand stamp or re-entry will not be allowed. Transferring hand stamps is a violation of the Imaginarium  policies and is strictly forbidden. 

The Lost and Found are located at the guest service to the right of the box office. The organizers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken items. Items will be retrieved when the festival closes and kept at Lost and Found for the duration of the event. For information regarding a lost article, please call (917) 250-3007.

The Lost Children Area is located at the First Aid area in between the Global Stage and Laser Light Show. For information regarding Lost Children please call (917) 250-3007.

The Imaginarium event organizers will accept all regularly accepted forms of USD currency. This includes cash and all major credit cards. 

In the past, we have found that Cash is the preferred payment method for our vendors. As a convenience, we have placed ATMs through the festival grounds.
